I cannot imagine living in the Desert without having an air conditioning and heating service agreement, and I cannot imagine having that agreement with any firm but Palm Desert Air Conditioning & Heating Company. They have been servicing our air conditioner and furnace for some 20 years now and that is a long time for any system to last, let me tell you. Our semi-annual service appointments have absolutely extended the life of our system beyond our wildest expectations.

This afternoon we came home from a morning out to hear our Trane AC unit outside rattling like the dickens, and on the beginning of Labor Day weekend no less (and 110 degrees outside). I immediately called PDAC&H and they arranged to have Omar here in 30 minutes. We have had Omar service our system many times in the past and know he is one of the best, as he has fixed several problems for us over time, and has kept our system going strong. We breathed a sigh of relief that he could squeeze us in at the last moment and prayed that or AC unit was not ready to go out on us for good.

Omar listened to the system for a minute and said he immediately knew exactly what the problem was. He was able to quickly repair some disconnected wires in the unit, and just like that the problem was solved. Instead of a huge bill, the invoice was very reasonable, and the service was discounted to boot as we are service contract customers.

If not for Omar coming right over, we would have kept the AC off all weekend and probably would have checked into a hotel. I can only imagine how much money we saved.

My AC went out in Palm Desert with 118 degrees out and my handyman could not figure out what the issue was. Called Palm Desert Air Conditioning and Heating and spoke to Brandy. She was able to pull some strings and send one of their techs within an hour.

Fast forward and Omar Nunez shows up. He quickly went on the roof and discovered that the motor blower in the unit was shot. On his own accord, he called his boss and discovered that it was still under warranty and special ordered the part. This saved me a ton of money as the motors on the newer energy-efficient models are around $1000. This proved to me that they are running an honest operation as he could have easily taken advantage of my dire situation.

2 days later he came by with the new motor and installed it and now my AC is cool as a refrigerator. I ended up paying only for the labor, which was totally reasonable.

In closing, I am very satisfied with the service I received from Brandy and Omar at PD A/C and Heating and look forward in using them for years to come.
